Beautifully engraved certificate from the Jimmie Allen Flying Club . This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a pilots wings. This item was issued to and hand signed by the Club's Member, Henry Bielski. It also has two printed signatures of Jimmie Allen. Minor foxing on top, otherwise in EF+ Condition. Jimmie Allen started as a messenger at the Kansas City Airport was helped along by acouple of veteran pilots. His adventures became very poplular with kids everywhere. His immense popularity inspired the creation of the Jimmie Allen Flying Club and a huge public relations bonanza for his sponsor, Richfield Oil Company. There was even a movie by Paramount Pictures in 1936 called The Sky Parade about Jimmie's adventures.
