This is a large gorgeous Victorian sterling silver tray made in London, England, by Barnards, in 1874. The tray has a pleasing oval shape with delicate beading along the border and handles. The beautiful engraving on the surface has been hand done, the excellence of which could only have been accomplished by a truly great silversmith. The tray remains in very crisp condition even after 130 years of use. It is approx. 29-1/2” long, approx. 20-1/2” wide, and approx. 178.5 troy ounces.
