One vintage Jack Daniel's matchbox, on front of box is "Jack Daniel's old No 7 Tennessee Whiskey, distilled from selected grain, distillery No 1 EST 1866". On one side is "guaranteed by Jack Daniel under the pure food and drugs act, June 30 1866, Jack Daniel distiller Lynchburg, Tenn.", on the oyher side is "hand made sour mash whiskey, awarded the highest gold medals at StLouis Mo. Exposition 1904, Liege Brlgium 1905". It is in very fine condition with a small spot of rust on front above Daniel's and a little on the metal edges on each side of the match striker. It is about half full or a little more of matches. It measures 1- 1/2" tall by 4-13/16" long by 2-11/16" deep and weighs 4 ounces. The outer part of the box is tin, the inner part is paperboard.
