This handsome early 1900s walking stick sports an L handle carved of walrus ivory. The details are beautiful---the horse's flowing mane, the rosette on his bridle, the bit between the teeth, the glass eyes that give him expression. The handle, which measures 4 x 1-3/4 inches, tops a 1/2-inch silver collar (probably sterling) with beautiful period engraving TNS, a stout rosewood shaft with an oval silver inlay, and a one-inch metal tip. This is a really nice stick, especially for horse lovers.
