With just the right amount of naiveity and with very good detail which includes the label on the wine bottle "Old Port" and the candy cane. really well done and worthy of an $8,000 to $12,000 estimate at a auction house like Skinners or other early Americana auction house. Perfect for a collector of late Federal period Americana. Probably New York school but could be Philadelphia.
