In high relief and superb detail in the French Empire style is this Russian tribute to the Bourbon Restoration of 1818 after the downfall of Napoleon I. The piece is struck in two segments: the central medallion and its separately-cast frame, featuring a ring of fleurs-de-lys. The artist's signature, Lotadick (?, is on the underside of the bust. Russian, circa 1818. Main body of the plaque, exclusive of the ring attachment, is approximately 4-3/4 inches in diameter.
