The Hours of Henry VIII, one-time only replica
This is a one-time only facsimile limited edition of the Book of Hours of Henry VIII, originally made c. 1500 in Tours, France, by Jean Poyer.
Materials used are genuine leather, velvet, sterling silver and vegetable parchment.
It has 400 pages with 55 full-page illuminated miniatures.
It is bound in red velvet with sterling silver clasps exactly as the original which it's housed at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York.
It comes accompanied by a full-colour commentary volume written by Roger S. Wieck (The Morgan Library & Museum).
