6" wide vintage Hiram Walker Poland Water label. Unused stock from the Hiram Ricker & Sons com in Poland Springs, ME. Has a 1926 copyright date on it and is circa 1930. Hiram Walker Poland water was a world famous product. In 1859, Hiram Walker started selling water from his spring and one of the locals claimed that his "incurable" daughter was cured by the spring water. It became very popular, and people were very gullible back then. By1893 they won the Grand Prize for mineral waters at the Columbian Exposition in Chicago. It is now bottled as Perrier (guess people are still pretty gullible) and Poland Water.
