Wonderful three-color majolica tile from Maw & Co's Benthall Works at Broseley Salop in a centralized neogothic floral design carved in very deep relief, c. 1860-1875. Bright glaze colors in very good condition with very little to no surface wear except to the top edges of the green leaves at right, at top and bottom; there is minor edge wear as shown, tiny upper right corner nick; the tile is .5" thick; excellent glossy finish.
