2 matching hand painted decorated beer stein mugs. I have seen the same item marked as Occupied Japan. However the two listed here are merely marked "made in Japan". The Measurements 6 1/4" tall this glazed three dimensional depiction of two gentlemen with their beers, sitting at a table with a lady in a rose colored dress. The man in the background is hard to make out. The details, although it is hand painted, was done is haste. The attached decorative handle is a pale blue. On the reverse side is a decoration that looks like fancy monogram of some sort. Both steins are in excellent condition.
