Hand-Carved Wooden Apples, Set of 3 This set of hand carved wooden apples was created by native artisans in the western part of North Carolina during the 1950s. The apples are carved from solid wood and are approximately 3 1/2" high and 2 1/2" in diameter which is approximately the size of a small apple. The apples are finished is a beautiful red color with black stems and includes an apple that is sliced. This reveals the wood from which the apple is made and is also painted to show seeds inside the apple. A beautiful example of the works created by native artisans in the mountains of North Carolina.
