Hair Ornament/Barrett/C.1940's Gold Plated W/Blue Enamel

Unavailable
A very pretty stamped brass hair barrett. I believe it was gold plated and then enameled with blue enamel to highlight some of the details. Then a silvertoned flower with a blue faux stone center was attatched where the bow and tails came together, The flower has those faux marcasites that were actualy faceted depressions that sparkle like there is a stone there but isn't. The flower was riveted through the bow and into the clasp at the back. When you consider just how old this little gal may be, she is in pretty good condition. There are some minor surface scuffs and scratches, but nothing deep. The plating shows some wear but the enamel seems to be mostly intact. It measures approx. 2"X1 1/8". The shipping fees quoted are for first class/No insurance in the USA.
