Original Grueby Faience arts and crafts wall tile depicting an "Antique Ship". The tile is found in the original Grueby Faience catalog when the firm was at K and First Streets, Boston, MA. A quintessential American arts and crafts image in Grueby's famous curdled cream, navy blue, brown and burnt ochre glazes. The tile is in very good condition with some peppering original to the tile as shown in the image and an approximately .375" x .875" upper left corner nick as shown in the two photos (one from above).
