Offering this very nice, clean, hard to find, full sweep 13" long x 2" wide cutting edge, socket gouge chisel, marked "GREENLEE ROCKFORT ILL. U.S.A." on the steel, inside a round logo with "GREENLEE"in the center. This company is well known for quality made edge tools in the early 1900's era, and other woodworking tools too! This chisel is straight, and clean, with plenty of stock left (8.25" steel length) for future sharpening. The socket handle is very solid with a very good leather wrapped end, a few scratches, no cracks, solid. The cutting edge is very sharp, a full arc type, and ready to use. A top quality large width gouge chisel by a well know manufacturer!
