A lovely Gorham Sterling Silver set in the Rosette pattern that was introduced in 1868. This is a set of 12 teaspoons and 6 tablespoons or serving spoons which come in their original fitted leather presentation case lined in burgundy satin. Teaspoons measure approximately 5 7/8" and serving spoons are 8 3/8". They are monogrammed with H & W. Backs are marked with the old Gorham hallmark Pat. 68 Sterling J. Bachman. The satin lining is marked with the name of the retailer Jos. Bachman Sterling Silver 3 Maiden Lane N.Y. in gold lettering. A beautiful set, very fine quality throughout. 3 pounds 7 ounces
