This is a gorgeous Tirschenreuth large covered sugar and creamer with a soft yellow band and white violet flowers on both sides. Each piece is trimmed in gold and shows very little wear. The colors on these two pieces are so nice and soft and a must see in person. Even the gold trim is soft! The sugar bowl is very large due to the fact that back in the Victorian era, there was no granulated sugar and sugar was shaved and chunky. The sugar bowl measures 7" tall and 8.5" wide from handle to handle and the creamer measures 4.25" tall. Each piece is marked with the Bavaria Tirschenreuth shield and crown mark and numbers 7418 79 which is most likely the pattern number to match the two up. Such a sweet and soft set to enhance any victorian or romantic Shabby Chic decor!
