Vintage clip earrings with four oval cut ruby colored rhinestones in graduated sizes prong set on an arched gold plated background. Both earrings are marked CASTLEMARK, which was owned by Clifford Furst and Joseph Bobley, originating in 1937. The chief designer was William Markle who created bold, intricate well constructed gothic, renaissance and art deco designs, using gold plated sterling silver. Furst and Bobley also developed the Castlecliff name and line which was introduced in 1945.
