This darling Ginny doll is Kay from 1953. She is the much sought after painted eyelash Ginny on a strung body. Her high pink cheek color really sets off her dark blue eyes which stick open as many of these do. She has the full fluffy dark brunette hair that is so desirable and it is in her famous flip style. She is wearing an early blue Vogue tagged red organdy dress with white appliqued lace trim. You can see this doll in the Vogue Enclyclopedia on page 100 at the bottom of the page. The dress is in very good condition with no damage or stains. Under the dress is a separate petticoat of white organdy trimmed in lace, and white Ginny satin panties. She has on red Ginny, early no heel, shoes and white rayon socks. She is a very striking early Ginny!!
