Antique German carved Black Forest walnut weather station with barometer and thermometer. The style of the carving is Wilhelmine German Renaissance, popular at the height of the Second Reich, 1890 -1914. The barometer is by Wilhelm Kuckuck, Hamburg. The quicksilver thermometer has Celsius and another scale.
Measures 9-1/2 x 23-1/2 inch Ready for hanging. Both instruments are in working condition and are accurate.
Good to Very Good condition. The crown has been reglued (see photo). The corners of the uppermost piece of molding, and one corner of a lower molding are missing. Dark finish looks original.
