Georges Briard was well known midcentury modern artist. His pieces were proudly displayed in 1960's homes. This exquisite signed piece measures 6" x 6". The white glass is decorated with a gold and black design. The back is felt covered and has a hanger so it can be used as a wall piece of as a trivet. On close inspection there is a small crack and a tiny hairline. Neither interfers with the functionality.
