A truly magnificent handled basket dating from 5 years into the reign of George III (1765). In incredible "like new" condition. The makers marks are for John Lawford and William Vincent. An almost identical basket appeared in Miller's Antiques Price Guide of 2000 made by the same makers. With handle lifted it stands 12 inches high. One of the best Georgian Baskets I have ever seen.
