It is a fascinating read!
BINDING: FINE BINDING!!!!
Bound in a fine, brown calf, 1/2 leather,
Period Style Binding, with marbled paper on boards.
Raised bands on spine, bordered on either side
with double ruled accents.
Blind tooled designs in compartments,
and red leather label with gold lettering:
"DISCOVERY IN AFRICA".
CONDITION: Very Fine Condition!
Hinges are tight & secure, with no weakness!
Pages are made of rag paper, and in Very Good Condition!
No tears, no writing on pages! Light foxing & discoloration scattered throughout book, text is clearly legible.

First title page has some "curling" on the fore edge of the page. (see picture #3)
Leather and bottom edges have very faint rub marks,
Otherwise in Very Fine condition!
Fold out map appears to be missing about ½ inch
across the bottom of the map.
