Francois Linke Louis XVI Style Vitrine Display Cabinet
This lovely vitrine by Francois Linke (1855-1946) dates from the early twentieth century. It is signed " F LINKE " on the top of the door and also signed on the bronze railing mount on the left upper side. It measures 52" wide, 45.5" tall and 14.5" deep (132.1 cm by 115.6 cm by 36.8 cm). Condition is very good. The mounts were recently removed and thoroughly cleaned. The finish is original and shows modest wear in spots, consistent with age. The interior is fitted with a single glass shelf and lower shelf with red satin upholstery. There is also a working flourescent lamp with cord that exits the rear panel.
