Fisher Hands Across the Sky Ad 1944 This is an April 3, 1944 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Fisher Division of General Motors with nice graphics from an early magazine. This great picture is by Dean Cornwell. It is titled Hands across the sky. Instruments from the hands of our craftsmen to the hands of airplane pilots are gyro-horizon, the directional gyro and the remote indicating compass. The first two were designed by Sperry and are built by Sperry and Fisher Body. The latter was designed by Bendix and is built by Bendix and Fisher Body. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 13 3/8"" tall.
