Large hilt with D-guard, serrated disk pommel, and bone grip. Steel backstrap, ferrules, langets, and guard all finely etched with animals and geometric designs. The double curved 15 ½" blade has a thickened armor-piercing point and is finely etched with panels matching the hilt. Even the blade spine is etched. Black leather covered wood scabbard with pierced white metal band. An impressive and intimidating weapon. Overall length 21 ½". Probably 20th C work.
