Ephemera/Minnie The Mermaid Fishing Barometer Paper Back W/Graphics

This is a wonderful and whimsical piece of paper advertising! It also was the backing for the product. It is Minnie the Mermaid Fishing Barometer. Aparrantly it was shaped like a mermaid, by the description of the meaning of the colors. I do believe this may have been a give away for the merchant. There is a place where the merchant can stamp or have them printed with thier address. This one has Harvel's Sporting Goods Tishomingo,Okla. Next To Postoffice on it. Tishomingo is near Lake Texoma, one of the largest manmade lakes in the US. It is so large they have coast guard cutters patrol it! It has shoreline in both Oklahoma and Texas. You can see the tear in the paper where the mermaid was removed. It has a copyright date of 1949 and what looks like the Naco Line printed in tiny letters in the lower right corner, I assume this is the maker. It measures approx. 4"X3".
