This French Japonaiserie ( Japanesque )candlestick in the shape of a lion was crafted by Emile Galle and carries the painted mark " E Galle Nancy " along with the word " depose " and the artist's initials with the cross of Lorraine between the letters. It measures 13.25" high and 8" wide and weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz. It is in exceptional condition, with no chips or cracks or repairs. This item resides in our client's place in Westchester County and may be seen by appointment.
