Vintage Blush Powder Compact from the 20's-30's "Attention Red" by Elmo. Has a beautiful little neat puff inside with Elmo in gold script on it. Also blush powder is still in tact with Elmo in script embossed on the top. This is a hinged compact with an indent lock in the front, round mirror opposite powder, nice art nouveau design raised on compact top. Compact appears to be brass. No dents. There is a slight surface scratch or 2 around the front where the opening is, not very noticeable. I have not polished this. Some people like it unpolished and some people don't. If you polish it, it should glisten a beautiful gold color almost original to the day it was purchased. On the bottom of the compact it has: Distributed by Elmo Sales Corp. PHILA, PA The gold foil blush shade label is still in place and reads: Attention Red Great name for a blush by the way! Measures 1/2 inch high by 1 5/8 inches in diameter.
