This is an after market piece of Anchor Hocking's Early American Prescut pattern. It is one of "not factory assembled" pieces Gene Florence mentioned in his book. The compote was created by placing the p" x 5 3/4" oval Star of David dish in a brass colored stand. The glass is in excellent condition. The metal shows some wear. It measures 5 6/8" high.
