EAPG - Pillow-In-Oval Creamer
This is a very nice creamer in the Pillow in Oval pattern in great condition. No one seems to know who the maker is and it was identified in the Collector's Encyclopedia of Pattern Glass by Mollie Helen McCain as Pillow-in-Oval with no maker with it and the creamer was the only piece made in this pattern. I did email the EAPG collector's society and they also do not know the maker and say it was the only piece made. I do say it does look like something US Glass would make and they do agree with this as well. Floresces yellow under the black light as EAPG should and has some roughness on the pillow in the center from age and use which can most likely be polished out, as well as a bubble in the glass in the center of one pillow as well as a couple of other bubbles here and there in the glass. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures almost 4" tall and 6.75" from handle to spout. Circa late 1800's. This is such a great and unusual pattern to add to any Early American Pattern Glass collection!
