Offering this very nice Eagle document box lid or trunk type box lock set with working flat key. This type requires a hinged type lid with the matching lock pin plate mounted on it, and the main body of this lock mounted on the box or trunk base, with a key hole and mortise on the box base for the main body part of this lock set. Marked in a small circle on other side "Eagle Lock Co, Terryville Conn. Made in U.S.A.". The locks open with a key turn clockwise. To close, simply align the matching lock plate (has double lock pins) with the main lcck body slots, and turn lock opposite direction to lock. The condition is very good, with good working mechanisms, very clean exterior. The main lock assembly measures .42" thick x 1.59" wide x 2.47" long. The A nice old lock for your old document, or tool chest, trunk. No screws supplied for mounting, but screw holes are provided in each piece.
