This is a very nice, clean antique 4.3" wide blade chamfer draw knife, marked "D.R. BARTON" on the outer handle steel frame. It is sharp, with plenty of stock left for future sharpening. The handles are solid and well attached with good ferrules. There is some dings and scrapes noted on the wood handle, but it still looks good. This draw knife is part of a cooper's collection that I am selling. It was in one tool from two tool boxes of tools that were used in more recent years to demonstrate the cooper's manufacturing techniques. The blade has a medium hollow type arc noted (less than 1/4" measured from centerline to the ends from a straight edge). This tool is in good+ condition, with a good snug hardwood handle and good clean cutting edge surfaces. Measures 14.25" wide overall. Becoming very hard to find!
