Description: Two wonderful pieces of Dog Art by the talented Marguerite Kirmse. The same subject of a Chow Chow, one an original drawing, the other an etching. The drawing on tan paper is annotated in her hand, "Sketch sent to Mrs. Hoover", (this on the left side), and then titled, Ha! Ha! (this on the right side). The etching, on wove paper, is signed in pencil, lower right, and on lower left is written, "2nd state" . Framed with archival textile matting, under glass, matching wood frames. An exciting pair of art works by one, if not the most sort after dog artist of the 20th century.
