Material: Carved wood, polychrome, pigment, encrusted sacrificial materials
Period: Very early 20th century
Dimensions: 16" length, 6" width, 9" depth; weight is 2.6 pounds
Condition: Excellent - intact and structurally sound, strong signs of age and use, standard thumbnail test leaves no impression. Early indigenous repair to the tip of the nose was executed so nicely that it is difficult to spot - see the centermost photo below. Liberal remnants of encrustation from sacrificial materials accentuate generous highlights of old polychrome, early pigmentation, and natural wood tones  splendid character!
