Description: GLAZED PROCELAIN SQUIRREL SNUFF BOTTLE. This ceramic snuff bottle shows a realistic squirrel holding onto a fruit. The tail of the animal shows on the underside. The mouth opening is fitted with a stopper. Normal wear on the overall glazed procelain. The stopper of grey stone (appears to be jade). Approx. dimensions: 3" L, 3/4" W,1" H. Circa 1796-1840.
