Deschler was strongly influenced by the philosophy of Leonardo Da Vinci, and used a quote from him in his exhibition catalog, 'To be an artist is not to be skilled in only one subject, practice can make one a good technician. An artist is an explorer who needs to experiment every subject.' Deschler did this, he painted animals, portraits, landscapes, nudes, etc. He did not confine himself to his area of expertise, architecture, although he excelled in this area. This is one of many Deschler paintings from the artists' estate. Email if interested in the others or see my other listings. Our art offerings are not production pieces.
