This watch was owned by Hall of Fame (to be) Linebacker Derrick Thomas. After his untimely death on February of 2000 his estate was sold. This watch along with 6 other jewelry items were purchased from his estate. Derrick purchased this watch for $45,000 in 1995. An amazing blaze of light in daylight this watch does not go unnoticed. This is a Mens Rolex 18kt yellow gold Day/Date with a blue shaphire face cut from a solid piece and the Rolex quickset feature. The watch has conservatively 17 carats of near flawless diamonds with a total watch weight of 142.6 grams. This watch is in outstanding shape and has been fully serviced on December 2001 and the internal Movement and case, crystal, dial, and crown are all factory Original and in perfect working condition. There is a 50 diamond bezel with each diamond channel set weighing approximately .10 carats each or 5 carats total. The Bracelet has 408 Diamonds set in an individually set 4-prong domino setting. There are 6 diamonds in the center link with 8 diamonds set on the outer links. The band has Approximately 12.24 carats of diamonds.
