Description: This is a Brass Railroad Conductor's Lantern, "The Globe" model made by the Dayton Mfg. Co. Circa 1880's. Glass globe is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The whole lid of the lantern unscrews to replace and clean the globe. Lamp stands 10.75" tall from top to bottom and is 6" wide at the base. There are a couple small indent marks on the top of the lantern by "The Globe" mark. Overall this lantern is in very nice condition. We have several more RR lanterns listed.
