Description: In this listing we are offering Three Scrapbooks dating from about 1935-1939 full of Marionette Puppet Photos and Memorabelia that belonged to Miss Frances Patterson, a teacher from Dayton, Ohio and Puppeteer at The Dayton Art Institute. It is a very large collection of items that include programs from performances and also from Puppeteers of America Conferences, sales brochures to purchase puppets, articles and photos cut from newspapers, letters from The Puppeteers of America to Miss Patterson, and many wonderful old photos taken during puppet shows and of single puppets. There is a bunch of literature having to do with the time Miss Patterson took a 1935 marionette course given by Tony Sarg in New York and there are a bunch of Sarg's Animal Circus Cards. There are sketches for Donald Duck and Caesar Romero Puppets by Catherine Westfield. One scrapbook has 42 pages, one has 60 pages and one has 46 pages. The 3 scrapbooks have paper edge wear and cover wear.
