Now retired, this Dept. 56 Cottage is the Heritage Village Collection, Dickens' Village Series. A sign by the front door identifies the shop as a candle shop, but also there are "rooms for let" upstairs. The details of the building are all handpainted and true to Department 56's standard of quality. There is a hairline crack on the bottom which shows only when the piece is turned upside down and does not in any way detract from the appearance. The price listed takes that flaw into consideration.
