When the deco period started bringing out the egyptian influence, many pieces were made to resemble King Tut and the pyramids. Along with that came Queen NEFERTITI (Her name roughly translates to "the beautiful (or perfect) woman has come"). This lovely old piece has Three panels with her head embossed into them and as you an see each and every bead is hand threaded onto these metal stringers. I can't even imagine the time it would take to make such an intricate piece! This measures 16" long around the neck ( extender could easily be added) and the large bib is 1 1/2" wide. Notice the turquoise color enameling on the end pieces. A combination of Turquoise color and brick color beads ( over 150 of these) are set up to form this very Egyptian pattern. What a wonderful old art deco piece! Vintage and antique items are not mint nor are they perfect. Sold as is and as found (used and probably vintage) Since this is Irreplaceable there can be no returns on this sale.. Please use photos to make your decisions.
