De Soto OK Officer I ll Go Quietly Ad 1940 This is a June 3, 1940 advertisement It is a nice black and white ad from De Soto Division of Chrysler Corp of Detroit. Ad shows a Police Officer. Ad tells story of how he stopped a lady driver to tell her about safer headlights and then he proceeded to tell her about his new De Soto. End of story she says, OK Officer, I'll go quietly. And she did to the De Soto Dealers showroom. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
