Unique and beautiful, Cast Bronze Mask Sculpture by renowned sculptor Dale Dunning who has his own foundry and casts pieces in the lost wax method entitled "Supplicant". This is a limited edition sculpture of which this is 3 of 7. He works in series and the mask that I am offering is dramatic, beautiful and a great collector piece that has already greatly risen in value since it was cast in 1984. The ladies face has vertical, undulating lines or texture and the base is rougher and more organic. The base looks like perhaps she has her hands together in prayer (just an interpretation.) It is signed Dunning; 1984 and numbered 3/7 on the back and includes the foundry seal; Lost Foundry. Below is a curriculum vitae of Mr. Dunning, incuding permanent exhibits in New York and Ottawa. Smaller pieces of his work (maquette) are currently selling at galleries for $14,000. This piece offers the collector a rare opportunity to own one of his famous pieces at a great price. I am open to reasonable and respectful offers. ** shipping will be determined by package size, weight and destination * more photos available upon request
