Club And Country Drawing by M Burniston Ad 1949 this is a September 1949 advertisement. It is a nice color drawing by Martin Burniston. It is a drawing to display mens fashions. In this ad, a gentleman has just walked out of a building , down some steps. He is wearing a tweed suit. The short rounded collar fastened with a pin is back, as your side kick to the Command collar. A brown and white tattersall waistcoat is nice, the matching tie is a brown and yellow striped rep in the new narrow shape. Dark khaki hat and cordovan shoes and if it rains, even your new raincoat in the Palomino shade. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 9 1/2 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
