To a fine and rare circa 1770-1790 French white and black mabel (Pendule Portique) with bronze D'ore mounts. The dial signed "Ch. Le Roy, Paris" for Charles Le Roy. This original movement was made by one of the finest Paris makers, who was clock maker to King Louis XVI. The clock is neoclassic with fire gilt bronze mounts. There are small missing sections includingbronze beading. With repairs and restorations.
