This old French factory began to produce in 1804 and continued until 1910. I've always thought that these plates should be displayed in a plate rack; to be sure they would be a handsome addition to any collection. One of the plates does show a stress fracture (pictured) on the reverse side but the fracture does not come through to the front. The plates show a woman with a boy at the well and the borders have animals you'd find on a farm.
