Chinese Porcelain  Blue & White Scholar's Seal Paste Box Lidded Container      It has a lovely hand painted under glaze design in blue on white porcelain.   There perforations on the lid that     It is signed on the bottom and shows some evidence of age.  But I don't think it is ancient.     The  bottom floor of the box has raised humps.    It is very pretty and could be used for many purposes.   It is 4" x 4.5"  and 2.25" tall not including the hexagonal finial on the lid.   Besides the slight iron oxidation of the rims the condition is excellent.
