Chevrolet From Ducks to Trucks Ad 1944 This is a June 24, 1944 advertisement It is a nice 2 page color ad from Chevrolet Division of General Motors of Detroit. In this ad it pictures tanks which they refer to as ducks, a Pratt and Whitney engine powered B24 bomber, 90 mm guns, military trucks, shells and forgings. All built by Chevrolet for the war effort. It reads, From Ducks to trucks, from Bomber and cargo plane engines to guns and shells, Chevrolet turns out volume for victory for our fighting men. Great pictures. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 inches tall.
