A 1911 copy of Chatterbox, a very early childrens book published by Dana Estes and Lauriat of Boston. It has a fabric covered hardboard cover with a color picture glued on the cover. It originally had 8 chromolithographed color prints but 2 are missing. There are about 200 black and white prints in the 412 pages. The covers and pages 2-3 have been taped to the book by a previous owner when they started to split at the spine. The edges of the pages have stains and the covers are rubbed and worn with corner and edge wear down to the hardboard. The name Ruth Blancelford is written in pencil on the top of the first blank page. The back cover has been bent and started to split and has been also taped in place.
