A good set of neoclassic revival side chairs with secondary wood of beech. The chairs retain the original framed slipseats, which are over-covered in silk. The crest rails are turned in a rope design with acorns between the stiles. An inlaid rail crosses the stiles and below is a hand carved anthemion and shell above foliage. The saber legs are inlaid as are all of the front stiles. (#1487)
